As a sojourner in life and faith, Carol has a passion to facilitate holistic health through relational connections with God, others, and within oneself for personal, marital, familial, and occupational growth. Carol strives to offer supportive presence and a safe space for people to seek relief and hope amid life struggles strengthened by God’s Word, prayer, and relationships. Evidenced-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapies (CBT), Trauma-Informed Therapies, Gottman Method Couples therapy, Prepare and Enrich are integrated with faith-informed practices to facilitate care.
Carol earned her bachelor’s degree in Christian education from St, Louis Christian College, her master’s degree in counseling from Harding School of Theology. She is licensed in Rhode Island and Massachusetts as a Marriage and Family Therapist with experience in private practice, community mental health, church ministry, Christian non-profits, volunteer police chaplaincy, and teaching. Her journey includes residences in the Midwest, Midsouth and New England as a daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother who loves family, travel, hiking, biking, reading, and being outdoors,

Mary considers counseling a sacred calling and an honor to assist individuals and families in navigating life’s struggles. Using Isaiah 61: 1-4 as her guiding verse, Mary provides compassion and care to encourage alignment with the Word of God.
Mary brings wisdom from decades of walking with Jesus. She earned her Master’s in Social Work at Rhode Island College and is a Licensed Independent Certified Social Worker. She has worked in the behavioral health field in a variety of settings for over 40 years. Mary has extensive experience treating anxiety, depression, substance abuse, women’s issues and life transitions. She uses several different approaches in her treatment including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Spiritual CBT and Solution Focused Therapy.

Jason Hsieh, MABC, MPH, Executive Director and Counselor

Jason considers it a joy and privilege to walk alongside others amid life's struggles. As executive director of Paradigm Biblical Counseling, he provides oversight of the organization's staff, finances, and direction. Jason offers counseling in a variety of areas, including but not limited to marriage, parenting, life transitions, conflict, low view of self, trauma, grief and loss, addictions, anger, depression, dating, singleness, and career/life direction.

In addition to his role with Paradigm, Jason serves as the associate pastor of counseling and discipleship at Grace Harbor Church in Providence, RI. Previously, he worked in health care policy, served in various counseling and discipleship ministries at Capitol Hill Baptist Church in Washington, DC, and was the pastor of counseling and discipleship at Trinity Baptist Church in Grand Rapids, MI. While at Trinity Baptist, he helped start a podcast titled "Trinity Life," aimed at encouraging and equipping the congregation on various matters of Christian life. He received a bachelor's of science in clinical nutrition from the University of California at Davis, a master's degree in public health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a master's degree in biblical counseling from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Jason writes regularly for the Biblical Counseling Coalition. He and his wife love watching British dramas and raising their daughter together.

Elizabeth Berry, Counselor in Training
Elizabeth is honored to have the opportunity to listen to the life stories of others while walking with them to Jesus. She has her bachelors in social work and is a graduate student in the Masters of Arts in Counseling program at Westminster Theological Seminary. As a WTS graduate student, her practice is highly influenced by the methodology and practice of the Christian Counseling and Educational Foundation (CCEF).
Elizabeth has over ten years of experience in youth work in churches, schools, and after-school programming and loves partnering with parents to see children and youth grow in Christ. She is actively involved in a small, local church plant where she has the privilege of directing the children's ministry, discipling adults, and counseling. Elizabeth has a focus on counseling children and youth, parenting, and more recently grief and loss. She is bilingual in Spanish and English.
